Line of Events
The events of the original film trilogy, “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim,” take place 183 years ago. It tells the story of the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, a clever and ruthless Dunlending lord who seeks revenge for his father’s death, forces Helm and his people to make a daring last stand in the ancient citadel of Hornburg – a mighty fortress that will later become known as Helm’s Deep. With their situation increasingly desperate, Hera, Helm’s daughter, must summon the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy intent on total annihilation.
