When I first saw the release of “Rivals”, I slightly squealed with excitement. I was nervous too ~ I was a fan of the books.
Clothes, makeup, music – what a soundtrack
Each series is fast-paced, there is no way to get bored or feel that it was dragged out, as is often the case with many similar miniseries. All the characters are so unique and so well played, the acting and the cast are simply amazing.
This series is fun, bold, colorful and nostalgic
I understand the frustration with the change in Rupert’s “look”, but it really doesn’t make much of a difference and has some sort of lasting impact in my opinion. She does not disappoint at all, and can we take a moment to appreciate David Tennent, who once again plays the bad guy beautifully.
