Line of Events
A sexually agnostic podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; find out if their relationship survives their very different lives and blended families. Originally titled “Shiksa,” which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. This show is intoxicating. The storyline is funny, witty, and warm. The main characters have great chemistry, and all the supporting characters add their own beloved flavor. Kristen Bell is one of those actresses who makes the best choices in what she does and takes on, and this one is no exception. It’s a story that makes you want to be a part of their world. Adam Brody’s character is like Seth, but 20 years later: grown up, mature, and still as funny and charming as ever. I sincerely hope they renew the series and give us more interesting content. One of my favorite light comedy shows of the year!
