Now in its ninth year, Prime Day has cemented its status in the United States as one of the year’s biggest industry-wide e-commerce moments. This year’s event took place on July 11 and 12, generating 2023’s biggest daily online spending to date. Total spending across both days reached $12.7 billion in the U.S. – 6.1% year-over-year growth – and set a new Prime Day record.
