The distillery was designed for versatility, with three pot stills and four column stills distilling different styles of spirit from top-grade molasses and sugar cane honeys. nextSectionThe youngest of the Diplomatico family, with 4 years old with Column still distillation process, has a brown sugar on the nose, with cocoa powder, raisins, caramel, sweet milky coffee and oaky spice. Creamy without being heavy or overpowering. The medium-full palate develops exactly as the nose would suggest, with chocolatey raisin fudge, sweet milky coffee again and the oaky spices emerging to tingle at the edges of the tongue. A well-made and extremely well-balanced spirit.

Diplomático Single Vintage is the product of a careful selection of rum reserves that have evolved exceptionally. After twelve years of aging in bourbon and malt whisky casks, this rum is placed in Oloroso sherry barrels to provide the perfect finish. Its rich aromatic profile includes notes of vanilla, spices and almonds. It is silky and incredibly flavorsome on the palate with a taste of tobacco, oak and caramel.
